Message from Graduate Student
Considering the Health of Communities
Social Medicine Course
Department of Public Health
WAKASA Hana
As a nursing student, I developed an interest in societal health while caring for patients. This
inspired me to pursue graduate studies and research during my master's program, which
motivated me to pursue a Ph.D.
Currently, my research focuses on how the lifestyle habits of individuals in a community affect their overall health. Since I am
studying actual residents in the area, the results may not always align with my expectations. However, I persevere by analyzing
data on my computer and occasionally going out into the community, searching for hints that may contribute to better health.
I hope that the results of my research will be useful for the community and society at large.
