The Master’s Program currently enrolls students from diverse academic backgrounds, including the health sciences departments of medical schools at national, public, and private universities across Japan and abroad, as well as departments of science, science and engineering, and engineering. The Doctoral Program also enrolls students and professionals from a wide range of research fields, both in Japan and abroad, such as biomedical science and engineering, advanced energy studies, nuclear engineering, space science, medicine, health sciences, public health, veterinary medicine, and other science and engineering disciplines.
Currently, approximately 70% of master’s degree graduates are actively working in technical and research and development departments of private companies, while around 30% continue their research by advancing to the Doctoral Program at this school or other universities. Doctoral degree graduates are also actively engaged in research and development at companies and research institutes both in Japan and abroad. There are also professionals who have pursued advanced research in their specialized fields while working at their companies and who have then obtained their degrees at this school.
