Qualifications of applicants

Master's Program
Those who have acquired a bachelor's degree or equivalent
Doctoral Program
Those who have acquired a master's degree or equivalent

However, note that the following require prior authorization for the applicant.

Master's Program
If your qualification falls under either clause (9) or (10) as specified in the Application Guidelines you need to submit all the required documents during the application period, June 4 (Tuesday) to June 10 (Monday), 2024 as you need authorization to be considered an applicant.
Doctoral Program
If your qualification falls under either clause (7) or (8) as specified in the Application Guidelines you need to submit all the required documents during the application period, June 4 (Tuesday) to June 10 (Monday), 2024 as you need authorization to be considered an applicant.

* If you send the application documents by post, send them by registered express mail. Application documents must reach our Student Affairs Office within the application period.

*Government-sponsored international students (recipients of MEXT scholarships) are not required to pay this, so it is important to inform us of your status when submitting the application.

How to get the Application Form and Guidelines for the Master's and Doctoral Programs of the Graduate School of Biomedical Science and Engineering

Request the form by post in an envelope clearly stating “Request for Application Form and Guidelines for the Master's (or Doctoral) Program of the Graduate School of Biomedical Science and Engineering” in red. Enclose a self-addressed envelope with 250 yen in stamps on an (Kakugata No2) envelope. Be careful to specify whether the request is for the Master's or doctoral program materials, also write in your contact phone number, and e-mail address.
