Promotion Plan for the Platform of Human Resource Development for Cancer

Hokkaido University Faculty of Medicine applied to participate in a program named the “Promotion Plan for the Platform of Human Resource Development for Cancer” supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, this project succeeds the “Hokkaido promotion plan for the platform of human resource development for cancer” project.

Participation is in cooperation with Sapporo Medical University, Asahikawa Medical University, and Health Sciences University of Hokkaido. We were selected for the program in March, 2017. The objective of this program is to train outstanding researchers dedicated to cancer research by providing the advanced specialized education required for the medical treatment of cancer, including “The Program for Cancer Genome Medicine”, “The program for Rare Cancer/Childhood Cancer”, and “The Biomedical and Engineering program for Rare Cancer/Childhood Cancer”.
