The institute was established to support animal experimentation for life science research, and was renovated in 2014.
Rooms for various laboratory animals (e.g., mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, pigs, sheep and monkeys), and for special experiments such as to examine animal biorhythms and experimental infection, etc.
Operation rooms for treatment of small, medium and large size animals.
Cryopreservation of embryos, ova and sperm of mice and rats. Elimination of specific pathogens based on embryo transfer.
Guidance with regard to animal experimentation techniques, and the collection and supply of related information.
Animal rearing rooms for mice and rats, biological specimen analysis rooms, surgery and experimental treatment rooms.
